FAQ's

Do you Travel?
Yes! I've shot weddings all sorts of places -- from Hawaii to Hartford, Seattle to Phoenix! Travel is included in most packages.

What do you charge?
I have packages starting at $4,000 and go all the way up to $15,000. As always, custom packages are available on a limited basis. Shoot me an email for more details.

What kind of equipment do you use?
I shoot exclusively with Canon professional (1-series) digital cameras and a full range of Canon professional lenses. I also have plenty of equipment for low-light situations. I do all of my editing using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

Do you shoot with an assistant?
Most of my packages include a 2nd shooter / assistant. By having another photographer shoot with me, I'm more available to focus on you, while my assistant is able to focus more on your friends & family :-)

Do you have backup equipment?
Of course!!! I always keep a spare set of equipment in the car, just in case something terribly bad happens. I haven't had to use it for a wedding yet, but I do frequently pull it out for random stuff while cruisin around Seattle!

Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, so feel free to rack up those points (and maybe help pay for the honeymoon!).

Do you shoot more than one wedding per day?
Never. I actually rarely RARELY shoot more than one wedding per weekend.

When do I get to see my pictures?
I try to have a preview available within 1-2 weeks with the entire set available within 4-6 weeks.

Are you insured?
Yep, I have personal and business liability insurance as well as insurance through the PPA.

Who are your influences?
The greats like Ansel Adams certainly got me interested in photography, but my biggest influence by far was Dawood Bey. His portraits opened my eyes to the power of portraiture and inspired me to tell a story with my photographs. Doug Hesse's work inspired me early on to the 'photojournalistic' style of wedding photography.
