I'm sitting in the Boise Airport right now in the B17 terminal where Southwest has obviously been listening to travelers! They have set up an entire section with nice leather chairs, each with it's own power outlet... even USB power for charging iPods! The entire airport has free wi-fi, although I refuse to connect to public hot spots (instead I use my Sprint broadband connect card). In the midst of pretty dissapointing customer service in the airline industry, I've found an oasis in which to wait out my delayed flight :-)

I can't make this stuff up...

Yesterday Katie and I went to the Woodland Park Zoo with James & Angela Johnson and their two kids Cole & Carter. The line was loooonnnggg to get in (I guess it was the first day of the flamingo exhibit -- which was kinda lame), but once inside the zoo it didn't feel crowded at all. The weather was perfect, the Johnsons are a ton of fun and the food wasn't nearly as bad as I expected :-) I tell ya what though, seeing the caged animals did remind me of when I felt trapped in a job working for "the man"! I couldn't help but to feel a little sorry for the animals there...

Today several friends and I hiked up a trail in Ironhorse State Park. I got pretty hot (my car said it got over 90), but it was actually cold hanging out next to the waterfall that we hiked to. Days like today remind me why I live in the Pacific Northwest :-)

Had a bunch of fun today snowshoeing with friends at Mt. Rainier. Definitely learned that I gotta get back in shape though ;-)
